Poles only come in third. Surprising data from the Turkish resort

Tourist numbers in Antalya are declining. Published data from the Turkish resort shows that, although the differences aren't significant, this summer hasn't been the success the industry had hoped for. A total of 9 million tourists have visited Antalya since the beginning of the year. The most alarming data came from the first quarter, when the renowned tourist destination recorded a 15 percent decline. In July alone, the difference was -0.77 percent compared to the previous year. The data regarding the nationalities of visitors, including Poles, is also interesting.
Antalya Tourism in 2025Antalya, located on the Turkish Riviera, hasn't enjoyed the same popularity this year as it did last year. The data was already worrying in the winter and spring, with reports of a 15 percent drop in tourist numbers. Ultimately, the summer wasn't as bad as predicted – in July, the unfavorable difference compared to the same period twelve months earlier was just under one percent. By August 1st, Antalya had already received a total of 9 million foreign visitors, the majority of whom were Russians. It was tourists from that country who contributed most to the growth – last month, the Turkish resort saw 3.4 percent more visitors than in July of the previous year.
Poles are the third force in AntalyaGermany took second place in the July visitor rankings, with Antalya recording 442,000 visitors from that country, a 0.09 percent increase. Poland came in third with 225,000 tourists, a 0.7 percent increase. According to experts at Wakacje.pl, Antalya is the favorite vacation destination for Polish tourists , ahead of Hurghada and Marsa Alam.
August could bring a significant improvement. On the first Saturday of the month, the city broke its all-time record for the highest daily tourist count. "The number of visitors reached 105,284 foreign tourists, of whom 103,526 arrived at Antalya Airport and 1,758 at Gazipaşa-Alany Airport," the report reads.
