Break in Classic is this weekend. Orliński and Dębicz are opening their festival in Otwock Wielki.

From August 15–17, 2025, the baroque park of the Bieliński Palace in Otwock Wielki will be transformed into one of the most beautiful summer concert stages. It is here – just 30 km from Warsaw – that the first edition of Break in Classic , a new classical music festival that redefines classical music, will take place.

The event's concept is the work of two outstanding artists: countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński and pianist and composer Aleksander Dębicz. A weekend full of world-class classical music, artistic encounters with a modern twist, and exceptional natural surroundings awaits us.
Break in Classic is a festival that combines the highest level of performance with an open, relaxed atmosphere, and stunning natural surroundings. Its founders, Jakub Józef Orliński, a world-renowned countertenor, and Aleksander Dębicz, an innovative pianist and composer, present classical music in a unique, fresh way.

The program of outdoor concerts features leading artists presenting a masterful and modern approach to classical music – one that redefines its place in contemporary culture. The park surrounding the baroque Bieliński Palace in Otwock Wielki – home to the Museum of Interior Design, a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw – is the perfect setting for enjoying the best music in a relaxed atmosphere at the height of summer.
"We love classical music because we find true life in it – with all its nuances. Both life and music need to be experienced in their own way, open to curiosity and questions, moved, and enjoyed. Do you need to be prepared for this, to know any rules? No! You just need to be ready for excitement. That's what drove us while creating Break in Classic," say Orliński and Dębicz.
The program features names and ensembles that demonstrate that classical music can be modern, surprising, and relatable to everyone. Performers include the baroque orchestra Il Giardino D'Amore, the jazz duo Elina Duni & Rob Luft, the outstanding instrumentalists Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Maciej Frąckiewicz, and Bartek Miler with their album Victoria, and Lucie Horsch – a flautist and phenomenal interpreter of early music – accompanied by Brazilian guitarist Plínio Fernandes and French bandoneon master William Sabatier. The program also features the duo David Bergmüller & David Orlowsky, soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou, and one of the world's most original chamber ensembles: the Atom String Quartet.

Of course, there will be concerts by the hosts themselves – Orliński and Dębicz will perform twice: with the Il Giardino D'Amore orchestra and in the beloved #LetsBaRock project, with the participation of Wojciech Gumiński and Marcin Ułanowski.
Concerts, meetings, silent disco and… museum toursThe festival concerts will take place outdoors, but there will also be an opportunity to tour the palace's interior and its unique collection of antique musical instruments. The creators of Break in Classic wanted to create a space for encounters: musical genres, traditions, and modernity, as well as artists and audiences. At the festival, you'll also be able to enjoy delicious food and quench your thirst, relax on a lounger, and even... dance at the silent disco!
The ticket price also includes transportation – festival buses will run between Warsaw and Otwock. Detailed information is available from the Organizer.
