A lavender attraction near WarsawJust 40 km from Warsaw lies Lawendowa Siwianka – a lavender field in the village of Siwanka and a workshop dedicated to this plant. Led by mother and daughter, Mariola and Weronika, they encourage relaxation combined with environmental education. Workshops tailored to different seasons are held year-round, but summer brings out the beauty of the blooming plants. During the summer, the farm hosts Lavender Weekends, open days, during which guests can participate in activities and walks.
The blooming season lasts until August 10th, and a walk through the lavender field is free. "The perfect space to relax," one review reads.
Lavender has a wide range of uses – it has a relaxing effect and relieves fatigue. It's also useful in cooking, for example, in a Provençal herb blend. It can also add flavor to many dishes and desserts. Guests can purchase lavender ice cream and even pierogi on site.
July 19 and 20 ProgramA rich program has been prepared for the upcoming weekend of July 19th and 20th, including a lavender cultivation walk with a story, a lavender distillation workshop, and alchemy workshops for children and adults. The cost of the workshops ranges from 20 to 40 PLN per participant. No advance registration is required.
The only way to get to Siwianka is by car. Guests can use the free parking lot. It's worth remembering a few rules of good manners – don't pick flowers, don't damage plants, and don't jump through the lavender rows. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
