Alicia Villarreal's makeup artist says she is not lying in her complaint against Cruz Martínez

Renowned singer Alicia Villarreal has taken legal action against her husband, Cruz Martínez, after he made a distress call during her recent performance in Michoacán. After her concert, news spread that the artist had been the victim of physical violence by the music producer, which is why she decided to file a lawsuit against him.

Although “La Güera Consentida”, as she is also known, has not issued any statements on the matter, various sources indicate that the incident occurred at her home in Nuevo León, the night before her performance on stage.

To formalize her complaint, Villarreal went to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Femicide and Crimes Committed Against Women in Nuevo León, with the intention of following up on her case. Faced with the uncertainty about the situation facing the family of the interpreter of hits such as “You take advantage” and “The mare has become too big for you”, The singer reaffirmed her commitment to justice through a statement issued by her legal team, in which she assured that she will go to the last instance. Cruz Martinez has denied all the accusations, saying the singer's statements are false. In a video released by the media outlet “Posta Nuevo León,” the producer is seen leaving an establishment accompanied by two of his children, where he took the opportunity to say: “You already know that everything is a lie,” while trying to divert the attention of reporters.

Villarreal's makeup artist claims there is violence

However, her makeup artist Abraham Anguiano has come to her defense, saying that what happened is completely true and that there is physical evidence of the assault. "It's real, she has bruises. Alicia would never agree to do something like that, she is a woman respected and admired by many people," he said.

The makeup artist also recalled the moment when the singer made a distress signal during her performance and mentioned that, later, a video was released in which her bruises are apparently seen covered. “In all these years that I have been working with her, she has always been a very cheerful person. That day I noticed something different in her eyes and I saw the bruises,” he said.
