Record results for Emirates, becomes the most profitable airline in the world

ROME – Record results at Emirates . The group has achieved an exceptional profit, thus becoming, for the 2024-25 period, the most profitable airline in the world. More specifically, the Emirates group closed the 2024-25 financial year with a record gross profit of 6.2 billion dollars, up 18% compared to the same period of the previous year. Net profit stood at 5.6 billion dollars, up 9.8%. This was announced by the Emirati group in a press release. The airline Emirates recorded a gross profit of 5.8 billion dollars (+20%) and revenues of 34.9 billion dollars (+6%).

Recovery after Covid

“For the 2024-25 financial year, Emirates Group has set very ambitious targets, achieving new records in terms of profit, revenue and liquidity ,” its chairman, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed al Maktoum , said in a statement. The Dubai-based group has achieved record profits in the last two financial years, after two years of heavy losses due to the Covid-19 crisis.
