Ugl, Health contract is a good sign but keep working

"We welcome with satisfaction the signing of the preliminary agreement for the renewal of the National Collective Agreement for the Healthcare sector 2022-2024, which finally recognizes a concrete and dutiful salary increase for the many healthcare workers in our country. An expected and deserved result, which represents an important step forward after months of stalemate for all NHS staff, but we must continue to work for the dignity and prospects of healthcare workers".
This was stated by Gianluca Giuliano, national secretary of Ugl salute, commenting on the agreement that provides for an average increase of 172 euros per month for over 580 thousand employees of the National Health Service, together with measures for the valorization of skills and the improvement of working conditions. "We share the importance of the result obtained and reiterate the urgency of guaranteeing increasingly concrete recognition to those who work with professionalism, dedication and often in critical conditions. Public health is strengthened by supporting its operators, protecting their rights and valorizing their role", Giuliano notes.
"The Ugl Salute - he concludes - will continue to work in the territory, in all appropriate places, to represent the needs of healthcare personnel and build, together, a more equitable, modern and respectful system of the dignity of those who are on the front line every day for the health of citizens".
