De Pascale: Healthcare in Italy Can't Become a Click-A-Day
For waiting lists on diagnostics, "we have a high level of inappropriateness and this is the real challenge that must be triggered on the Regions". Michele de Pascale said this while speaking about healthcare on 24 Mattino on Radio 24: "the prescribing system must be appropriate. Healthcare in Italy is becoming a bit of a click day, the first a thousand who press the button get a benefit, and this it is unacceptable, because every service to those who would not have it need is a performance that we are taking away from another person, who gives up".
