Who would want the death of a religious man who had always preached peace and coexistence between peoples and religions? There is a great international intrigue at the center of the next appointment of “ Mare, Sole e Cultura ”, the historic literary review of Positano organized by the Cultural Association Mare, Sole e Cultura in collaboration with Mondadori , the Municipality of Positano , the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno and the Carisal Foundation , and with the contribution of the Campania Region and the patronage of the Presidency of the Council, the Ministries of Tourism and Culture. Enzo Amendola , author of The Imam Must Die (Mondadori) and Gennaro Sangiuliano , author of Trump (Mondadori), will stage it on Tuesday 8 July (9 pm – Piazza Flavio Gioia). Together with Raffaella R. Ferré , journalist for “Il Mattino”, they will draw on past history to tell us about our present. 1978. Italy is shaken by the Years of Lead and the Moro kidnapping, when another disappearance muddies the already dark waters. Musa al-Sadr, Imam leader of the Lebanese Shiites, has disappeared along with his entourage and his last traces seem to lead to Rome. The captain of the Italian secret services Roberto Stancanelli is assigned by his superiors to investigate. From the early stages of the investigation, however, Stancanelli is convinced that the Imam has never arrived in the capital. Someone made him disappear before, and perhaps forever. Has the Imam fallen into a trap by Gaddafi? Are the Shah's secret services involved?

One of the most profound mysteries of the last century – known as the “Moro d'Oriente case” – offers the opportunity to intertwine historical truth and literary fiction, but also to reflect on the story of Donald Trump, re-elected president of the United States after an interrupted mandate, the second man in history to do so and capable of grasping the meaning of his time like few others.

The event closes on Thursday 10 July (9 pm – Piazza Flavio Gioia) with Amedeo Colella author of Napoli due volte al dì (Mondadori) and Chiara Gily author of Aspettami al caffè Napoli (Mondadori). The meetings are open to the public and also this year, thanks to the collaboration with Travelmar , those who want to participate in the event will be able to take advantage of a return trip from Salerno to Positano and from Positano to Salerno. The ferry is by reservation only, subject to availability, and will depart from Piazza della Concordia at 5.10 pm and will leave again from Positano at 11.00 pm and will not make any intermediate stops.
