A little over a year after the installation of the new municipal administration, the civic list Un Cuore per Caronno draws up an initial assessment of its activity in opposition. It does so with balanced tones and without direct attacks, underlining the constant commitment in the new role: "We are facing this new adventure in the minority with commitment. We are present in the commissions, we are present in the City Councils and we try to give our contribution", explains the note from the group.

While avoiding hasty judgments on the work of the current council, the list invites the administration to complete the projects already funded and ready to go. "We believe it is not the time to "crucify" the current administration, the citizens elected them and expressed their vote, so we believe that this administration should have the opportunity to gain their own experience and try to do the work for which they were elected", they explain, recalling that they have two former mayors and a long administrative experience among their ranks.

The group also announces the birth of a new association, of social inspiration, with the aim of being close to citizens "for a word, advice, help".

There is no lack of veiled criticism of those who in the past would have hindered the completion of the mandate of the previous administration, up to the appointment of a commissioner of the Municipality: "We remember that there is no point in criticizing, and that it will be the citizens who appreciate or reject the work of the current administration. And that the last word will always be the citizen who expresses his vote. We think it is right that those who now administer can have the opportunity to complete their five-year journey. Not as some have thought it best to have our mandate conclude without a deadline. We do not wish anyone to go through what we have gone through."

The final message is clear: A Heart for Caronno presents itself as a vigilant and collaborative force, ready to intervene, but without prejudice: «We will criticize, if necessary, but never out of prejudice».
