Villeurbanne: these five summer activities offered from August 11 to 17


During the summer period, the City of Villeurbanne offers several activities for all ages from Monday 11 to Sunday August.
On Thursday, August 14, at 6:30 p.m., the show "Lonely Sweety" will be presented at the Abbé Border living space for children ages 10 and up. The scenes will depict the life of Sweetry, an influencer ready to do anything for her followers. She will be played by Mathilde Chérubin. Free and no reservation required.

Adults and children ages 6 and up are invited to cooking workshops on Monday, August 11th and Wednesday, August 13th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A facilitator will be on hand to help them prepare a simple recipe using seasonal ingredients at the Parc de la Commune in Paris. Free, but registration is available on site.
Two spaces dedicated to children and young people will be set up every weekday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the Buers-Croix-Luizet neighborhood. The first will feature workshops and activities (dance, graffiti, etc.) for ages 12-25. The second will be for families and those under 12. Free, with on-site registration.
For children and families (ages 4 and up), Tuesday, August 12, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., the Maison du livre, de l'image et du son will host a reading session. This session will be followed by a screening of short films. Free and without reservation.
And finally, next week, the City is offering 45-minute aquagym sessions with sports instructors. These sessions take place on Wednesday, August 13th and Saturday, August 16th, starting at 11:45 a.m. at the Etienne-Gagnaire Aquatic Center. Open to ages 14 and up, the cost is €7.70 for Villeurbanne residents and €8.90 for everyone else.
