Moselle Est. Hospital cooperation with Saarland will be extended to stroke victims.

Nearly 1,000 French patients have been treated at the Völklingen Heart Clinic since 2013 thanks to a cross-border healthcare agreement. The Mosar agreement plans to extend coverage to stroke victims by the end of the year.

Since 2013, nearly 1,000 French victims of acute myocardial infarction, currently between 130 and 140 patients per year, have been hospitalized as emergencies at Völklingen Hospital. This care was made possible by an initial agreement between the Forbach and Völklingen hospitals, which was integrated into the Mosar agreements in 2019 and extended to a large part of the Moselle-Est region.
