Huningue: The local Red Cross unit launches a mobility assistance service

Since the beginning of May, the local Trois frontières unit of the French Red Cross has been offering a mobility assistance service to people in need. This solidarity transport program, unprecedented in the Haut-Rhin department and extended to the entire Saint-Louis metropolitan area, has already benefited around twenty people and is expected to expand in the coming weeks.

This Thursday, July 24, on Place Abbatucci, a white Citroën Berlingo attracts attention. Usually parked in Blotzheim, it is presented that day in Huningue. It is equipped with reflective strips and bears the "French Red Cross" logo, but when you approach, you can read, on the inside of the windshield, "Croix-Rouge mobilités." A new taxi service? An ambulance? What is really behind this name?
