Two evenings of rock concerts at the Moulin du Rousseau in Périgueux

A busy weekend for the Some Produkt association, which is offering two evenings of concerts at the Moulin du Rousseau. On the program: Fast Lane and Foxhole, co-organized with Young For Eternity, this Thursday, May 1st, starting at 8:30 p.m., and the Australian Johnny Casino with Périgourdins 69 Ways, opening on Saturday, May 3rd, also starting at 8:30 p.m.
Thursdays are all about punk rock. Hailing from Bordeaux, Fast Lane is a dynamic rock band renowned for its melodic compositions and infectious energy. Blending classic and modern influences, with a punk '77 ancestry and a penchant for the sounds of US labels Fatwreck and Epitaph, their music combines catchy riffs, driving rhythms, and a touch of emotional intensity. They captivate both in the studio and on stage thanks to their authenticity and showmanship.
Foxhole, the Clermont-Ferrand group, made a notable appearance at the Gros Tonneau festival in 2023. They are now touring and playing other festivals (including Europavox last year).
From high-energy rock like the Stooges to more “calm” rockJohnny Casino, aka Johnny Spittles, is an Australian singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He began his career in Sydney in 1991 with the legendary rock band Asteroid B-612. Although he was initially heavily influenced by the high-octane rock of the MC5, The Stooges, and Radio Birdman, he gradually abandoned the genre to stick to a calmer indie rock style.
Since 2007, he has further developed his activity by forming numerous groups and recording multiple albums. Today, he mainly promotes his band Johnny Casino Syndicat, where he works alongside Vinz Guilluy on bass and Dimi Dero on drums.
In the musical universe of 69 Ways, the locals, Weezer teases Royal Blood, Kill The Young flirts with Danko Jones, and Hoodoo Gurus gets cozy with ShineDown. Their trademark is power pop.
