The Villégiatures return to the Château de Biron for a 6th edition

For four summer evenings, Biron, the largest castle in New Aquitaine and a major center of Périgord heritage, will host artists from eclectic musical backgrounds in an exceptional setting. This open-air festival promises spectators a true timeless interlude, between sunsets and concerts under the stars.

An exceptional place for an unforgettable experience

All concerts will take place in the courtyard of the majestic château, an architectural gem overlooking the Dordogne Valley. The audience will experience a warm, friendly, and family-friendly atmosphere, enhanced by the beauty of the setting and the magic of the summer evenings.

Nine artists and groups will perform one after the other, offering the audience a rich and vibrant musical experience. On Thursday, August 21, the evening will be a mixed bag with La Yegros, queen of electro-cumbia, and Luiza, a Franco-Brazilian singer with a radiant voice. The next day, it will be a sensory journey with Molécule, a pioneer of immersive electro recorded in a natural environment, and Makoto San, an innovative collective blending Japanese percussion and futuristic sounds. On Saturday, the atmosphere will be intimate with the deep and committed voice of Ayo, preceded by the poetry of the songs of Franck & Damien, a poetic French chanson duo.

Sunday, August 24, the closing will be festive with the Périgourdin, Tibz, who returns to play "at home." Revealed in 2016 with the title Nation, a unifying anthem and the most broadcast song on the radio in 2017 (more than 100 million streams), he seduces with his sense of melody, his touching lyrics and a disarming sincerity. He has also written for Zaz, Jenifer and Les Enfoirés. His universe mixing humor, emotion and mischief, like his sunny and committed hits, will be mixed with the Tuareg rock of Tamikrest and the offbeat energy of the duo De Grands Enfants.
