Rhône. Guided tours to discover the remains of the mausoleum unearthed in Saint-Romain-en-Gal

The good news came in the middle of summer: during archaeological excavations carried out on the site of the Saint-Romain-en-Gal museum, archaeologists had discovered the unexpected remains of a very large mausoleum. The find sheds new light on funerary practices in the ancient city of Vienna. The museum wants to share this discovery as much as possible and is organizing a series of 1-hour guided tours (from 6 years old) until January to explore this monument. Probably linked to a high-ranking personality, it is said to have been erected around 50 AD
