It's a tried-and-tested formula that has worked every time for 16 years. At the end of each summer, the Parc des Oiseaux in Villars-les-Dombes also becomes a temple of French song for its Les Musicales festival.
This Friday evening, Barbara Pravi will open the festivities, followed the next evening by Kendji Girac and, on Sunday, by Marc Lavoine. And it will continue until September 14th with Laurent Voulzy, Hoshi, Amir, Thomas Dutronc...

Loire: Saint-Germain-Lespinasse celebrates the agriculture of the past
This Sunday, Saint-Germain-Lespinasse goes back in time for an old-fashioned agricultural festival.
There, you will be able to admire vintage agricultural machinery, some of which will be put back into operation for the occasion, attend demonstrations and a parade of tractors and old cars.

In Bourg-en-Bresse, the Colors of Love Are Dying Out
The Royal Monastery of Brou? Margaret of Austria's cry of love to her deceased husband, Philibert the Handsome, Duke of Savoy.
A treasure trove of history and architecture that, all summer long, at nightfall, was the setting for a sound and light show on the facade of its church. You can continue your luminous stroll at the Bourg-en-Bresse theater, at the Town Hall.
The twelve-minute cycle repeats itself six times, so you can easily attend all the performances, from 10 p.m. at the monastery and 10:15 p.m. in the other two buildings.
A free shuttle takes you from one point to another. Last show this Saturday, August 30th.

A friendly event awaits the curious and enthusiasts this weekend in Jullianges.
This Saturday and Sunday, the highest racecourse in Europe will host the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes regional carriage final . It's a chance to see Comtois, Shetland, and Fjord horses pulling rural wagons or small horse-drawn carriages.
Here, the animal's well-being will count as much as speed to earn points.
There will also be a handling competition and a marathon, something to feast your eyes on.
