Heritage Days: three hikes to visit the sites of Saint-Méard-de-Dronne

On Sunday, September 21, the Cavaliers and Meneurs de la Vallée are offering a tour of the town's main sites on foot, horseback, or mountain bike. Three circuits will overlap: 25 km for riders and mountain bikers, 14 km for carriages, and 10 km for walkers. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and departures are free from the Plaine des Sports de la Tour site. Everyone will have the same refreshment point halfway through the ride for a country snack. "After last year's success, we're putting wild boar stew served on garlic toast, a favorite of our favorite cook, back at the center of the buffet," assures Jean-Pierre, a loyal rider.

Bean and rind soup will be served after the aperitif in the entertainment room, also available for any picnic from the bag. Protective clothing is recommended and a helmet is available for minors. A license or liability insurance (EquiLiberté or private) must be presented, otherwise a compulsory insurance of 5 euros is required upon registration (except for walkers). Participation fee 10 euros.
