How to ask Dr. José Gregorio Hernández for a miracle?
For years, Dr. José Gregorio Hernández has been considered by the faithful as 'the doctor of the poor'.
José Gregorio Hernández was born in Venezuela and during his life he was a doctor, scientist, professor, and philanthropist with a Catholic vocation. He has been declared blessed by the Catholic Church and on February 25 , Pope Francis authorized the process of canonization, so he will soon be considered a Saint.
For years , the figure of José Gregorio Hernández has been venerated in his native country and other places in Latin America, since miracles related to health are attributed to him, hence his nickname 'the doctor of the poor'.
His image is known for always wearing a cloth suit, hat, tie and medical equipment. He is one of the most important religious figures in South America and aspiring to be the first Venezuelan Saint.

As mentioned above, thousands of people turn to the blessed man in order to obtain a miracle, especially those who are suffering from serious health problems. This should be taken into account when asking for help from the 'doctor of the poor'.
- Trust and ask with faith: “Faith moves mountains” and when asking for a miracle, the first thing to keep in mind is the faith with which you ask, placing your trust and hope in the one who will intervene with God.
- Pray sincerely: When entrusting your health to José Gregorio Hernández, you must ask him from the heart for the desired miracle, telling him the situation and asking for help.
- Patience: This is one of the great virtues, but it is well known that when the intervention of a saint is requested, miracles may require an estimated time.

This prayer can be said daily, especially to ask for miracles of healing for seriously ill patients.
"O Lord my God, almighty! Who have so blessed your beloved servant José Gregorio, and who by your great mercy have given him the power to heal the sick and help those in need, grant him, Lord, the grace to heal me as a spiritual physician of my soul and my body, if it is for your glory.
I ask you this, my Lord, in the name of your beloved son, who recommended these beautiful teachings to us:
"Ask, and it will be given to you. Everyone who asks receives. But ask with faith. All things are possible to those who have faith. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you."
Grant us these graces that we need, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying: Our Father..."
Finally, you must pray an Our Father, Hail Mary and a Glory Be.
