Where and when to watch the free drone show in Madrid for the premiere of the film 'Superman'

Madrid will host the largest drone show in Spain on July 10th at 10:30 p.m., with free admission for all attendees. The event will celebrate the release of Superman , the highly anticipated film directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet .

In anticipation of the film's official premiere on July 11, the Spanish capital will offer an unprecedented visual experience with more than 600 LED drones capable of projecting up to 16 million shades . These devices will form figures in the sky using an RTK geolocation system and a network composed of six Wi-Fi antennas, ensuring pinpoint synchronization.

The event will take place at the San Isidro Fairgrounds in the Carabanchel district, covering 18,000 square meters open to the public, while the drone flight area will occupy another 2,000 square meters. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a 70,000-square-meter security perimeter will be established.

In addition, the staging will feature live music: a guitarist will perform the soundtrack's main theme live, adding a sonic and nostalgic dimension to the technological display.
