The heart of Tomorrowland has burned to the ground. Just two days before the official start, the festival's iconic main stage—a structure inspired this year by an ice colossus—has been completely destroyed by an unexpected fire. The incident took place in Boom, Belgium , where thousands of workers were putting the finishing touches to the event when the flames broke out. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The organizers reacted quickly and issued an official statement that reassured the more than 35,000 attendees who already had tickets. Although the cause of the fire is still under investigation, it is suspected that it started during a technical test. More than a thousand workers were evacuated without incident as the flames consumed the central set.

"We are not canceling the festival," said Debby Wilmsen, spokesperson for Tomorrowland . Although rebuilding the burned-out stage is impossible, she confirmed that the event will go on as planned from July 18 to 20. The priority now is to reorganize the program and redesign part of the stage design. The remaining fifteen stages remain intact and ready for the concerts.
Tickets remain valid. The organizers do not consider cancellations or refunds, as the festival is not canceled. Concerts by renowned artists such as David Guetta , Martin Garrix, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike remain on the schedule, although some may change locations within the venue.

DreamVille opens as planned. The official Tomorrowland campsite began welcoming the 38,000 attendees who will be staying there this Thursday. Despite the initial uncertainty, the mood among fans is one of relief : many were already on their way to Belgium when they saw the shocking images of the fire.
"We're going to offer a great experience," Wilmsen promised. And while the iconic Mainstage won't be part of this edition, Tomorrowland remains true to its spirit .
