The Pro Montaña Foundation spoke with Aconcagua Radio about the acts of vandalism in Potrerillos and Tunuyán.

Claudio Mellimaci spoke with Aconcagua Radio and provided an overview of this situation, which was brought back into the discussion after a video went viral showing tourists painting rocks in Potrerillos.
Acts of vandalism in protected areas in Mendoza have once again raised alarm. Graffiti on rocks and trees in Potrerillos and Tunuyán sparked outrage from environmentalists and residents.
In a conversation with " En el Medio de Todo" on Aconcagua Radio, Claudio Mellimaci, founder of the Pro Montaña Foundation , expressed his outrage at these actions that threaten natural heritage: "We're going to cut off the hands of some somewhat dangerous artists who paint in nature reserves," he said.
Although Mellimaci said the number of cases has decreased, he warned that "even though it has decreased, cases are still appearing," which shows that the problem persists and demands urgent protection and awareness measures.
