The cause of death of Hulk Hogan, the wrestling legend who died at the age of 71 in the United States, is officially known.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was taken to a hospital in the United States after paramedics treated him at his home. However, he died minutes later.
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea , was pronounced dead at a Florida hospital on July 24.
Police explained the authorities' response and, at the same time, a section of the call was released in which a 911 emergency line dispatcher alerted units to go to the fighter's home, located in the city of Clearwater .

The cause of death of American professional wrestler Hulk Hogan was an "acute myocardial infarction" resulting from "chronic lymphocytic leukemia," Florida forensic authorities confirmed to the EFE news agency one week after his death.
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler died at the age of 71 on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, Pinellas County.
The heart attack was caused by "a history of atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia," the Pinellas County coroner's office in west-central Florida said.

The coroner ruled his death to be natural , caused by an acute myocardial infarction, which involves a sudden interruption of blood flow to the heart that can cause irreversible damage to the heart muscle , commonly known as a heart attack.
The report revealed for the first time that the WWE legend suffered from leukemia, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells, and atrial fibrillation , a disorder that causes cardiac arrhythmia, although it is unknown if he was aware of this diagnosis.

In September 2024, the 12-time world champion revealed on Logan Paul's 'Impaulsive' podcast that he had had around "25 surgeries in the last ten years" , ten of which were back surgeries, in addition to having both knees, hips and shoulders replaced.

On July 24, emergency services responded to Hogan's home, where they tried to revive him for 30 minutes and then took him to a local hospital , where he was pronounced dead less than 90 minutes after medics arrived at his home.
Hogan had been married since September 2023 to Sky Daily yoga instructor, who explained that Hogan "had been dealing with health issues," but assured that she did not expect this sudden loss.
