Diego Urdiales sponsors Fabio Jiménez's alternative in Alfaro
The young bullfighter from La Rioja, Fabio Jiménez, will be the star of the bullfighting fair in his town, Alfaro, as he will take part in the alternative bullfight on August 15th. Diego Urdiales, also from La Rioja, will be the godfather, and Alejandro Talavante will act as the "witness," with cattle from Alcurrucén.
Following various issues with the organization of the fair, the Alfaro City Council assigned Aragonese businessman Ignacio Ríos to design the posters.
Along with the bullfight in which Fabio Jiménez will take the alternative, the fair in this Riojan town will feature a horseless bullfight on August 16th featuring Samuel Castrejón and Manuel Domínguez, a prominent figure in the nighttime bullfights at La Maestranza in Seville. The young bulls for the occasion will be from "Galbarín."
