“Acústico was an album made during the pandemic. After all this time we spent locked up, I had a pressing need to be able to play a concert.” "It was really nice to do it," Cuevas recalls. "It was a great idea to do it because it was a tribute album to the famous La Ley MTV Unplugged, which we released in 2001."

That album, recorded at the height of La Ley's heyday, became a turning point for the band and a benchmark for the Latin American rock scene. Today, more than two decades later, Cuevas recaptures that spirit with a tour that has already sold out three consecutive performances at the Municipal Theater in Santiago, Chile, and is now touring several Latin American cities.

In this new phase, Mexico is a key element. In addition to Guadalajara, the tour includes stops in cities such as Mexico City, Mérida, Monterrey, Ciudad Juárez, and Tijuana. In the nation's capital, for example, she will perform on September 3 at the Esperanza Iris Theater, a venue with more than 100 years of history.

In addition to the review of his career, Cuevas also opens up space for new voices. On his album Acústico, he features a collaboration with singer Javiera Flores on the previously unreleased track "Todo es perfecto."
