Although Linda Caicedo was responsible for opening the scoring , the 'canarinhas' were not far behind and managed to come back before the end of the first half.

“Me watching the final of the Copa América for the women’s team,” wrote one user from his X account, along with a photo of a young man holding his breath with impatience.

Others also pointed out that at the start of the competition, they didn't have much faith in the team, as they don't usually watch women's soccer. However, upon learning that Colombia had advanced to the final against Brazil, they immediately changed their plans.
