Summer Breeze 2025: Lineup today, August 16 - Tickets, travel, information
For over 25 years, the Summer Breeze Open Air Festival has been a fixture in the calendars of countless metal fans. This year, tens of thousands of visitors will once again flock to Dinkelsbühl (Bavaria) in August to party, headbang, and cheer on their favorite bands.

Around 45,000 metal fans are expected again this year – and they'll be in for a treat: Over 120 bands have been announced, including 33 new acts. Festivalgoers can look forward to a wide selection of metal subgenres such as death metal, black metal, thrash metal, and metalcore.
Among those scheduled to take to the stage are Within Temptation, Saxon, Dimmu Borgir, Hämatom, and Wardruna. Here's an overview of all the acts announced so far:

Anyone still wanting to buy a ticket for the metal festival should hurry. According to the organizers, 90 percent of tickets have already been sold (as of June 23). Once all festival tickets are sold out, only a limited number of day tickets will be available, meaning no more tickets including camping. Different ticket categories are available depending on your arrival date and vehicle type.
Day tickets start at €89.99. Festival tickets start at €239.00.
To ensure a smooth festival visit for people with disabilities, the following applies: Severely disabled visitors with a disability rating of B (constant accompaniment required), H (helplessness), or BL (blindness) on their ID card will receive a free ticket for one accompanying person. A valid ticket and their disability card must be presented.
Wheelchair users also receive a free ticket for their companion, even if the disability symbol isn't noted on their pass. There's also a platform in front of the stages where wheelchair users have priority. The festival grounds also have 30 accessible restrooms.
Good news for residents: People over 50 from Bernhardswend, Botzen, Illenschwang, Obermichelbach, Sinbronn, Tiefweg, and Villersbronn can attend the festival free of charge. A valid ID with an address is required. However, festival wristbands cannot be transferred for other people and must be reactivated daily.
The festival site is located in Sinbronn, approximately five kilometers east of Dinkelsbühl. Visitors arriving by public transport, bicycle, or shuttle will not incur any additional costs. The €15 early arrival fee is also waived.
- Those arriving by car or campervan can book arrival slots at www.summer-breeze.shop . Arrival is possible starting Monday. The address for your navigation system is Illenschwang, 91749 Wittelshofen.
If you plan to arrive by car, you should book a parking slot in advance.

- For train travelers , the organizer recommends traveling via Ellwangen. All special trips to the festival grounds are listed at BAHN.DE. The best connections for arrival are shown with "Summer Breeze Festival Grounds" as the destination; for departure, the destination is "Dinkelsbühl Schiesswasen."
- In Dinkelsbühl, visitors arriving by bus can transfer to the shuttle bus to the site. The bus departure points are Ellwangen, Ansbach, Crailsheim, and Dombühl. Shuttle bus times have not yet been published.
- The nearest airport is in Nuremberg. Alternatively, the airports in Stuttgart, Munich, and Frankfurt am Main are also easily accessible by train.
Forgot your sunscreen, can opener, or toothbrush? No problem. The festival grounds will once again have their own supermarket this year. It's located near the Circus Stage campsite and is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Those who pre-ordered beer can pick it up in front of the supermarket until 1:30 a.m.
A festival in high temperatures and with large crowds can be overwhelming for both experienced and new visitors. This year, Summer Breeze will therefore be introducing an awareness team for the first time. Festivalgoers who feel unwell or have experienced a breach of their boundaries can turn to them. Trained members of the awareness team are available for personal consultation and are always ready to listen to all visitors.
Awareness staff members can be identified by a button with an eye. The team can be found at two locations: in the Awareness Exchange Room from Wednesday to Saturday, 12 p.m. to midnight , and in the Awareness Retreat Room from Tuesday (12 p.m.) to Sunday (6 a.m.) .
There's also a program beyond the live shows: The Campsite Circus offers yoga and metal workouts with Metalza, among other things. Those looking to train their vocal cords and get some extra tutoring in singing, growling, or screaming can attend a workshop with Britta Görtz, Hiraes frontwoman, instructor, and vocal coach. An exhibition by cover artists Thomas Ewerhard and Björn Gooßes and a disco are also planned.
To create a concert experience in your own living room, Arte Concert is once again streaming individual stage shows live this year.
